Is it a framework for memories, a place to feel you are safe, or is it the objects one uses everyday, a treasured cup, the familiar faces that we share the house with? My painting ‘Morning View’ Kato enjoyed walking across a newly painted artwork or knocking pens to the floor, but most of all he loved surfing the bed with a sea view SoCo Artists show at Hastings Arts Forum

Opening my studio for the annual Coastal Currents event. I will be here most of the time so open to visitors at the weekends and during the week.

I have invited Dawn Timmins to join me so it will be a treat to see her cheerful paintings alongside mine.

Buy The Kilo is a plastic-free dried foods and household goods shop in Tyneside with monthly changing exhibitions of environmental art - what better place to exhibit prints of these paintings?

A million plastic bottles are bought around the world... a moment on the lips leads to several lifetimes on the tips. Many will find their way to the ocean where plastic pollution kills marine mammals and turtles and over a million sea birds each year.

Plastic bags take up to 300 years to fragment but remain in the environment indefinitely and sadly 1in 3 fish caught for human consumption now contain...

Studios open once again!

Nice trail of surrounding artists taking part all within the Mercatoria Mile with lots to see.

There will be new work on show, paints to have a go at watercolour, some bargain prints for sale and a few freebies.

Locally grown veg to buy.  Feed the pigeons by hand…
